Maria is a passionate and highly skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential in every area of life. With specialised experience in working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, and a wide range of physical, cognitive, and behavioural challenges, Maria brings both expertise and empathy to every session.
Her therapeutic approach is child-centred, evidence-based, and deeply collaborative, ensuring that each child receives an individualised plan tailored to their unique strengths and challenges. She works closely with families, educators, and other health professionals to create supportive environments that empower children not just in the clinic, but also at home, school, and in the community.
Maria has a strong focus on developing essential skills such as:
- Fine and gross motor development (improving coordination, balance, and strength)
- Sensory integration (helping children regulate and respond to sensory input)
