Our allied health professionals here at MOVE360 are highly qualified and trained in the assessment and treatment of different types of sports & gym injuries. The type of Injuries that you may sustain during sport may include ankle sprains, muscle strains, ligament sprains, shoulder dislocations, Acromioclavicular joint dislocations (AC Joint), and Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)/Meniscus Knee injuries, or any fractures.
Sports physiotherapy treatment techniques employed at MOVE360 may include taping, soft/deep tissue massage, dry needling, various electrotherapeutic agents, ice/cryotherapy compression, and heat. Other injury rehab techniques commonly used include joint mobilization and manipulation techniques to increase muscle length and strength and prescription exercises to enhance balance coordination and strength.
One of the crucial aspects of physiotherapy management is helping you to learn self-care. This may be in the form of exercises, strapping/ bracing, learning how to modify your activity to reduce overstressing your injured part, and learning self-treatment strategies.
